Physicians
JAMES L. BUMGARDNER, MD joined this practice in 1983. He is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Medical School. He served his internship at Bryn Mawr Hospital; his residency at Temple University Hospital, Shriners Hospital and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.
Dr. Bumgardner is a member of the Arthroscopic Association of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons for Sports Medicine. He is Chief of Orthopaedics at Grand View Hospital and Medical Director of Grand View Sports Medicine Center. Dr. Bumgardner specializes in treatment of knee injuries and arthritis of the knee. He serves as the team physician for several local high schools.
PAUL L. WEIDNER, MD joined this practice in 1988. He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and Temple University Medical School. He performed his residency at Temple University Hospital, Shriners Hospital and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Dr. Weidner is a charter member of Arthritic Hip and Knee Surgery Society. Prior to joining UBOA, Dr Weidner was a Staff Physician at Temple University Hospital and Sports Medicine Center. He is a past president of the Grand View Hospital Medical Staff (year 2000). He currently serves as the Director of Total Joint Replacements of the Hip and Knee at Grand View Hospital. Dr Weidner is on the staff of Grand View Hospital.
JAMES M. HURLEY, MD joined this practice in 1993. He is a graduate of Villanova University. He served his internship and residency at Temple University Hospital; Shriners Hospital and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. He completed post residency training at The Cleveland Clinic as well as in California where he studied shoulder surgery and sports medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a subspecialty in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Hurley is a member of the Arthroscopic Association of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He currently serves as the physician for several local high schools. ERNEST
E. COPE, III, MD joined this practice in 1997. He is a
graduate of University of Connecticut and The Medical College
Of Pennsylvania. He served his internship and
residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. Dr. Cope
completed a post residency fellowship In spinal surgery at the
Thomas Jefferson University Spinal Cord Injury
Center. He is a member of the Society of Military
Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Cope is on staff at Grand View
Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgery. He is also a member of the North American Spine
Society.
STEVEN
E. CASEY, MD Joined the practice in 1998. He is a
graduate of the University of Scranton and Temple University
Medical School. He served his internship and residency
at Temple University Hospital. He completed an
Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Brigham
Women’s Hospital, a major teaching affiliate of Harvard
University Medical School. Dr Casey served in the U.S. Navy
for four years, where he was Head of the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at Camp Lejeune Naval
Hospital. Dr Casey is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a subspecialty in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
He is a member of both the American
Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Foot
and Ankle Society. He is on staff at Grand View
Hospital.
JOHN M. MINNICH, MD is a fellowship-trained, board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Minnich joined Upper Bucks Orthopaedics in August 2010 and is a member of the Grand View Medical Staff. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery, cartilage restoration procedures, ligament and tendon repair and reconstruction. Dr. Minnich attended Jefferson Medical College and performed his orthopaedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was appointed as a staff orthopaedic surgeon to the Pensacola Naval Hospital and served with distinction while deployed to the Middle East. He then went on to complete an orthopaedic surgery sports medicine fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

RICHARD W. GODSHALL, MD established this practice in 1965. He is a graduate of Juniata College and Thomas Jefferson University Medical College. He served his internship at Geisinger Medical Center; his residency at Akron City Hospital, Graduate Hospital. Dr. Godshall served in the armed forces at Scott Air Force Base Hospital. Dr. Godshall served on the Board of Trustees of Grand
View Hospital as well as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery for 29 years. Dr. Godshall is on staff at Grand View Hospital.
CARL A. HANSEN, MD joined this practice in 1968. He is a graduate of Hamilton College and McGill University Medical School. He served his internship at Montreal General Hospital and Montreal Children's Hospital. Dr. Hansen served in the armed forces in Viet Nam and at Valley Forge Army Hospital. He is a member of the American Back Society and a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Hansen is on the staff at Grand View Hospital.

MELISSA ROSENAU, PA-C
is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and holds a license in
Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University
with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies. She obtained her
Masters in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey in Piscataway, New Jersey. In addition to
orthopedic surgery, Melissa completed rotations in general surgery,
internal medicine, family practice and obstetrics and gynecology,
psychiatry, emergency medicine, pediatrics and geriatrics. She is a
member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and the
Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.

NICOLE TARLECKI, PA-C is a board certified
Physician Assistant with a Pennsylvania license. She obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant
Studies at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. In
addition to Orthopaedic Surgery, Nicole has completed rotations in
Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine,
Pediatrics, Psychology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of
both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician
Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery.

JACLYN ROBINSON, PA-C
is a board certified Physician Assistant with a license to practice in
Pennsylvania. She graduated from University of the Sciences in
Philadelphia with a BS in Health Science, and obtained her Masters of
Science from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout
her training, Jackie completed rotations in General Surgery, Emergency
Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Behavioral
Medicine, and Gynecology and Prenatal Care. She is currently a member of
the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in
Orthopaedic Surgery.
HANH PHAM, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant who graduated from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a BS in Health Science, and obtained her Masters of Science from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She holds a license to practice in Pennsylvania. Hanh completed rotations in General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Prenatal/GYN, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Behavioral Medicine.
